Yes! We have a small camp store where you can purchase snacks and camping essentials as well as ice cream!

Our Cabins and Rentals page provides a detailed list of the amenities for the various rental units.

We provide:

• a drip coffee pot in all units (except for the tent). You need to bring your own
• filters and coffee plates, bowls, cups and flatware in units that include cooking facilities 
• toilet paper in units that have a toilet

We do not provide:

• Pots, pans or cooking utensils in any units. You will need to bring your own.
• Bed linens, blankets , pillows or towels. You will need to bring your own.

Yes, visitors are required to stop in the store upon arrival to fill out a visitor registration form. Fees are $10 per day or $15 overnight per visitor. 

Yes. Due to insurance, we cannot allow any aggresive breeds in the campground including but not limited to Pit Bulls, Staffordshires, Cona-corsas, Dobermans, Rottweilers, Shepards/Malinois, or Mastiffs. 

Some. Most people for AT&T have full signal. Other cell phone carriers signals vary from minimal to none. We have park-wide wifi so if your phone carrier allows voice calls over wifi then that may work for you!

 Quiet hours run from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM

Fishing in Lizard Creek is great! Many people catch nice stocked and wild trout. The PA DCNR stocks the stream twice a year. To fish in the creek you need to follow all PA fishing rules and regulations, including obtaining and displaying a valid fishing license. See the PA Fish and Boat Commission website for details. Lizard Creek Campground does not charge any additional fees to fish.

2 adults and 3 children are included in the standard nightly rates. If you have a larger group than that, call and we can discuss your requirements!

We know that sometimes the unexpected happens and you need to cancel a reservation. Our Cancelation policy is as follows:

Premium Sites & Rentals: Cancelations made at least 15 days prior to check-in will receive a full refund less a cancelation fee of 15% or $50 (whichever is greater). Alternatively reservations may be rescheduled once for an additional $25 fee; no refunds for cancelations made with less than 15 days notice.

Non-Premium Sites: Cancelations made at least 15 days prior to check-in will receive a full refund less a cancelation fee of 15% or $20 (whichever is greater). Alternatively reservations may be rescheduled once for an additional $25 fee; no refunds for cancelations made with less than 15 days notice.

Check-in times vary by the day of the week but is never later than 7 pm. Check-out time is by 12 pm. If you need to check-in or check-out outside of these times, please contact us about your needs and we can discuss them. Additional charges may apply.

Yes! There is wifi throughout the campground. Upon arrival you will be issued two wifi access codes per site. These codes, once used on a device, are locked to that device and cannot be moved to a different one. Our Internet bandwidth is limited. You will be able to send/receive emails and browse web sites, but streaming movies/music or using a VPN is not permitted. Streaming will result in skips, buffering, dropped connections and will negatively affect other campers’ wifi experience. 

PA state prohibits the movement of firewood more than 25 miles from this location. We sell firewood! We offer the overnighter for  $6.75, we also offer the weekender bundle for $15. You may not bring firewood from one of the quarantined counties or from out of state. 

There is coin operated laundry in the lower bathhouse. It has 1 washer and 2 dryers. They are suitable for doing small loads of laundry. The washers cost $1.25/load and the dryers are $1.00/load. If you need to do large loads or very dirty laundry, there are several laundromats close-by that we can give you directions to. 

Taking care of the environment is very important to us! Sadly, there are no options for businesses in this area to dispose of recyclables. We will start recycling as soon as we can find someone who will take it. Please help us get recycling in the area by contacting your local representatives and ask them to pass legislation to better take care of our planet!

We have 20 lb and 30lb propane bottles for exchange. Stop into the camp store and our staff will take care of you.

Security deposits put on a credit card are processed using our credit card service, Square. Their refund policy is as follows:

Refund Timeline

It takes 2-7 business days to process a refund with Square. Once the refund is processed and sent to your issuing bank, it can take another 2-7 business days (depending on the bank’s processing speeds) for the refund to post to your  account. In total it can take 9-14 business days for you to receive your refund
