  • Do you have a camp store?

    Yes! We have a small camp store where you can purchase snacks and camping essentials as well asour new Familytime ice cream shop, open May16-Oct 15.  Thursday-Sunday.

  • What is included in the rentals?

    Our Cabins and Rentals page provides a detailed list of the amenities for the various rental units.


    We provide:

    • a drip coffee pot in all units (except for the yurt). You need to bring your own filters and coffee
    • plates, bowls, cups and flatware in units that include cooking facilities, service for 4
    • toilet paper in units that have a toilet
    • Paper towel roll, dish soap and hand soap.

    We do not provide:

    • Pots, pans or cooking utensils in any units. You will need to bring your own.
    • Bed linens, blankets , pillows or towels. You will need to bring your own, add on linens service is available for only $20 per stay.

  • Are there fees for guests or visitors?

    Yes, visitors are required to stop in the store upon arrival to fill out a visitor registration form. Please see Pricing.

  • Do you have any pet restrictions?

    Yes. Due to insurance, we cannot allow any aggresive breeds in the campground including but not limited to Pit Bulls, Staffordshires, Cona-corsas, Dobermans, Rottweilers, Shepards/Malinois, or Mastiffs. 

    MAX 2 pets per site.

  • Does your park have cell phone singal?

    Some. Most people for AT&T have full signal. Other cell phone carriers signals vary from minimal to none. We have park-wide wifi so if your phone carrier allows voice calls over wifi then that may work for you!

  • What are your quiet hours?

     Quiet hours run from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM

  • Is fishing allowed in Lizard Creek?

    Fishing in Lizard Creek is great during April- June!  Our creek is stocked twice in April for the Trout season. To fish in the creek you need to follow all PA fishing rules and regulations, including obtaining and displaying a valid fishing license. See the PA Fish and Boat Commission website for details. Lizard Creek Campground does not charge any additional fees to fish.

  • How many people are included in the quoted RV and tent site prices?

    4 people are included in the standard nightly rates. You can add 2 additonal people on your site for a fee.  If you have a larger group than that, call and we can discuss your requirements!

  • What are your cancellation policies?

    We know that sometimes the unexpected happens and you need to cancel a reservation. Our Cancelation policy is as follows:


    15 Days prior to check-in or more

    Full refund less a cancelation fee of $30.

    OR

    Reschedule once in the same season, minus the $30 fee.


    8-14 Days prior to check-in

    Camp credit to be used at a different date in the same season less a cancelation fee of $30, no payment refund. 


    0-7 Days prior to check-in:

    No refund, no credit.


    Holidays:  No refund, no credit once booked.


  • What time is check-in and check-out?

    Check-in times : 2pm-8pm 

    No check in on Mondays or Tuesday.

    Please call us if you need these days.

    Check-out time: By NOON.

    Contact the office to see if early or late check out is available for a small fee.

  • Do you have Wi-Fi?

    Yes, we have brand new Wi-Fi this 2026 season! Everyone will recieve free basic Wi-Fi for your cell phone or laptop devices, while premium wifi is available for purchase (for streaming,  etc.) We preivously were only able to issue 2 Wi-Fi passes per site due to limited bandwidth, so this is a huge upgrade for us! 

  • Do you sell firewood?

    YES!  We have a NO CARRY IN FIREWOOD POLICY to protect the environment of our campground. Don't worry every reservation recieves a free bundle of firewood included with their stay! Otherwise, we offer an overnight bundle for $9 or the Weekender for $20. We will deliver the wood to your site, you can add additional wood to your stay at time of booking or at check in. 

  • Do you have a laundry facility?

    New 2026! We have replaced our old washer and dryer units with new coin operated washer and dryers! Mid-April we will have a credit card option available.

  • Do you recycle?

    Taking care of the environment is very important to us! Sadly, there are no options for businesses in this area to dispose of recyclables. We will start recycling as soon as we can find someone who will take it. Please help us get recycling in the area by contacting your local representatives and ask them to pass legislation to better take care of our planet!

  • Do you have propane?

    We have 20 lb and 30lb propane bottles for exchange. Stop into the camp store and our staff will take care of you.

  • We have never camped, what should we bring?

    We are excited you have decided to embark on this adventure! We recommend reading LL Bean's Family Camping Checklist for ideas on what to bring and how to get started camping.

  • When will my security deposit be returned to my credit card?

    Security deposits put on a credit card are processed using our credit card service. Their refund policy is as follows:


    Refund Timeline

    It takes 2-7 business days to process a refund. Once the refund is processed and sent to your issuing bank, it can take another 2-7 business days (depending on the bank’s processing speeds) for the refund to post to your  account. In total it can take 9-14 business days for you to receive your refund
